Five Panel Insight Drug Test Cup (CLIA Waived)

The Five Panel Insight Drug Test Cup is a CLIA waived, FDA 510(k) cleared urine drug test that screens for Amphetamine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Opiates, and Marijuana in one simple step. Collection and testing happen in the same cup, and results are ready to read in just 5 minutes. Each drug has its own test strip with clear control and test lines for straightforward interpretation. In a lay user study, people with no testing experience were able to follow the instructions and use the cup accurately. Up to 5 drugs can be detected in one test, with up to 15 different drugs available across the Insight cup line.

PERFORMING THE TEST
Before testing:
Allow the test cup to come to room temperature [15-30℃ (59-86℉)] prior to testing.
Step 1: Tear the foil bag open and remove the test cup and disposable gloves provided for the donor. Label the device with donor information. (Step 1)
Step 2: Open the test cup lid and urinate directly into the test cup. Be sure to fill the test cup with the urine specimen between a minimum of 30 ml and a maximum of 110 ml (marked on the cup). (Step 2)
Step 3: After the urine specimen has been collected, close the lid securely and place the test cup on a flat surface. (Step 3)
Step 4: Peel off the label to reveal the test results. Read test results at 5 minutes. DO NOT INTERPRET RESULT AFTER 30 MINUTES. (Steps 4 & 5)

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
|
Negative Result NEGATIVE: A line appears in both the control region (C) and the test region (T). This means a negative result for the test drug, regardless of how dark or light the line may appear. *NOTE: Each test strip needs to be looked at individually. Each line may vary in color and darkness or the rate at which the line appears. Do not compare lines within the same test strip or between different test strips. |

Preliminary Positive Result: POSITIVE: A line appears in the control region (C), but no line appears in the test region (T). This means a preliminary positive result for the test drug. Preliminary positive results should be confirmed by a laboratory using GC/MS or LC/MS. |

|
Invalid Result: INVALID: No line appears in the control region (C). The result is invalid. Retest with a new device. |

Yes. This drug test cup is CLIA waived and FDA 510(k) cleared, which means it is simple to perform and can be used outside of a traditional laboratory setting.
Results are read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 30 minutes.
A line in both the control (C) and test (T) areas means a negative result, regardless of how dark or light the line appears. A line in the control (C) area only means a preliminary positive result. If no line appears in the control (C) area, the test is invalid and should be repeated with a new cup. Each test strip should be read individually.
Yes. Certain foods, medicines, diet plan drugs, and nutritional supplements may cause a false positive. A diluted sample, or a sample tainted with substances such as bleach or alum, may cause a false negative or incorrect result.
This test provides only a preliminary result. Preliminary positive results should be confirmed by a laboratory using GC/MS or LC/MS, the recommended confirmatory methods.
