DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Preparation: Appropriate sites on the body for patch application and wear, as seen in Figure 1 (shaded areas), include areas of the chest along the lower rib and lateral to the midline, and outer portion of the uppers arms or back. Avoid areas of excessive body hair. Using a conventional 70% isopropanol swab (not contained), gently but firmly clean the entire area of the skin site selected for patch placement. Hands of the authorized, trained professional applying the patch should be cleansed prior to application procedure or non-talc latex gloves should be worn. Cleanse the area completely, about six to seven inches in diameter removing natural skin oils and surface matter. Allow the alcohol to air dry at room temperature for 60 to 90 seconds as the skin must be completely dry to assure proper adhesion. Do not wipe or touch this area prior to application.

Patch Application: Open package and remove sterile patch. Note that the patch has two sides: one with a white border liner and the other with a white liner with DrugTestsInBulk.com labeling.

Step 1: Once the skin is thoroughly dry, hold the patch by one of the two wings at the borders, turn the patch over and peel away the white DrugTestsInBulk.com labeled liner from the adhesive side of the patch. NOTE: The patch should be applied over skin which is taut; wrinkles or natural skin creases should be avoided at application sites. Making the skin taut at the site of application is accomplished by flexing the biceps or deltoid (in the case of upper arm application), bending forward (in the case of back application) and bending backward (in the case of lower chest application). This guarantees that in the

Step 2: Without touching the adhesive border (hold at the wings), carefully place the patch with the adhesive side toward the skin surface onto the site previously prepared.

Step 3: With the patch affixed to the subject’s skin, and the remaining white border cover on the outside surface, firmly press the patch to the skin and hold for about 10 seconds. This promotes patch adhesion.

Step 4: Locate the slit in the white border cover and carefully peel away the white border cover using the index finger of the opposite hand to press the clear adhesive margin to the skin during this removal process (see Figure 2).

Step 5: Once the white border cover is removed and discarded, the white absorption pad, ten-digit numerical code and clear adhesive border are clearly visible (see Figure 3).

Step 6: Once the patch is secured to the subject’s skin, it is advised to gently rub the patch along the clear adhesive border to promote adhesion, making sure that there are no folds, creases or channels.

Step 7: The ten-digit code number within the patch is unique to each patch and permits a record of this number to be made on the appropriate documentation or Chain of Custody form. This assures that the patch being applied will be the same as that which subsequently will be removed. The DrugTestsInBulk.com Patch is designed to be tamper evident. Removal and re-application of the patch by the wearer would be evident to the trained professional.

Step 8: For the adulteration, compared with the color card, and the results should be read at 2 minutes,do not interpret the result after 5 minutes.

Do not interpret the result after 3 minutes. For the adulteration, compared with the color card and the results should be read at 2 minutes, do not interpret the result after 5 minutes.
