1- For a positive consequence, a red line can be seen in control region and no line can be seen in test region.
2- For a negative consequence, one red becomes visible in control region along with additional red or pink line can be seen in test region.
3- For an invalid consequence, a line in control region does not appear which usually is due to inadequate specimen volume or improper technical methods. Cut-off levels in these tests are set to SAMHSA cut-off points.
