The one step dip and read specimen validity test semi-quantitatively analyzes a urine specimen for 6 parameters on six reactive pads in one easy step.

Six Reactive Pads
Creatinine (CREA) This test covers the most common form of specimen tampering, specimen dilution. Dilution using diuretics is also often referred to as "Flushing".
Nitrites (NIT) This covers a class of chemicals not normally found in human urine. Common occurrences are the additive of such products of Klear.
Glutaraldehyde(GLUT) This covers a class of chemicals not normally found in human urine. Common occurrences are the additive of such products Clear Choice and UrinAid.
pH Tests for the presence of acidic or alkaline adulterants in urine.
Specific Gravity (SG) Tests for the Viscosity of the urine sample.
Oxidants (OXI) Tests for the presence of oxidizing reagents such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide and pyridinium chlorochromate.

Results are obtained by comparing the color on each of test pads with the corresponding pad on the container color chart.

This assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method.
