The DOT Drug Test (DOT1) helps maintain the company’s integrity, while protecting drivers from automobile accidents and collisions that could have been prevented. Employers will normally test for the most common drugs: cocaine, marijuana or THC, opiates, phencyclidine or PCP, and amphetamines (e.g. methamphetamines). These drugs are listed under the mandated testing regulations for the Department of Transportation, which is an industry standard.
